The Philippine Bureau of Corrections is doing its part to help the country’s food security. Prisons Chief Director General Gregorio Catapang Jr. recently announced programs that aim to help the national government stabilize rice supply. BuCor is turning some land of penal farms to rice fields with persons deprived of liberty assisting in making this a reality.
