Footage captured on Tuesday (April 9) showed huge waves crashing over a seawall in Saint-Malo, France, flooding a street as passers-by watched on.

Weather warnings were issued across Brittany from Monday (April 8), upon reports Storm Pierrick would bring strong winds to the region.

Transport was disrupted in parts of Normandy and several regions in France were placed on orange alert by Meteo France.
