On The Scene: Inmates at Greece’s largest state prison performed a concert on the grounds of the facility as part of World Music Day, the culmination of a seven year workshop. The inmates of Korydallos prison played five musical compositions for family members that they had created themselves, as part of the seven-year program at the prison, sponsored by the country’s National Opera, where they learned to play musical instruments and compose lyrics.
