Pero sa kabila nito, hindi naman ikinatuwa ng mga manggagawa at iba pang nasa labor sector ang wage hike dahil malayo ito sa hirit nilang petisyon na maging 750 pesos man lang ang minimum wage sa Metro Manila.
Ayon naman sa Trade Union Congress of the Philippines, inaasahan na nila ang karampot na dagdag-sahod, pero tiniyak na isusulong nila ang 150 pesos na legislated wage hike sa kongreso.
