Pinabulaanan ni Sen. Jinggoy Estrada ang impormasyon mula sa isang media entity tungkol sa umano’y nangyaring botohan sa Senado na ibalik ang kontrobersyal na confidential at intelligence funds ng Office of the Vice President #OVP at Department of Education #DepEd.

“That story is not true. During our executive session, all we discussed was the national budget of the Republic of Philippines. We never talked about the confidential funds…’Yung nireport kahapon ng media entity ay mali-mali ‘yung mga detalyeng ibinigay,” pahayag ni Estrada sa Kapihan sa Manila Bay ngayong Miyerkules, November 8.

Ayon sa impormasyong inilabas ng naturang Senador mula umano sa executive session ng Senado, nasa siyam ang sang-ayon na ibalik ito habang lima naman umano ang hindi sang-ayon dito.

“Under our rules, kapag mayroon kayong executive session, bawal lumabas ang kahit ano mang impormasyon, kahit sino, kahit sa media, bawal,” paliwanag ni Estrada.

Dagdag pa niya, pinaiimbestigahan na sa Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges ang Senador na nagbigay nito sa media at maaari aniyang maharap sa expulsion. #News5 I via Justinne Punsalang
