On The Scene: Thousands of demonstrators turned out in Munich on Sunday (January 28) as part of an independently organized protest against the German government and its fiscal policies. Protesters called for more government help for small and middle-sized businesses, more tax relief and help for German farmers. Many at the protest were also against money being spent on Ukraine. Organizers had been expecting close to 30,000, but figures ran closer to between 10-20,000 participants.
