Trapped people evacuated, treated for injuries two days after Taiwan quake ANC
Survivors who had been trapped in a cave in Taiwan following a magnitude 7.2 earthquake arrived at an evacuation center on Friday (April 5). Rescuers evacuated several people from the Jiuku Cave on Friday morning and the survivors received medical examinations, according to Hualien County Government. Search party members found two more bodies after the quake struck off the sparsely populated, raising the death toll from the quake to 12.
