Hurricane Beryl, a Category 4 storm, is moving quickly towards the Windward Islands and will remain a major hurricane at least through mid week, said National Hurricane Center director Michael Brennan on Sunday (June 30). Brennan said that the hurricane is heading southeast of Barbados and will pass through the islands early Monday morning. The hurricane’s eyewall is projected to hit between Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada, bringing with it catastrophic winds estimated at 130 miles per hour.
