Taiwan residents on Thursday (April 4) recounted their terror a day after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake rocked the island, as the number of people injured climbed past 1,000. The temblor, the strongest in 25 years, hit on Wednesday (April 3) morning just as people were readying to go to work and school, centered on the largely rural and sparsely populated eastern county of Hualien.
