Namataan ng mga tauhan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines nitong Sabado, April 27 ang isang Chinese-flagged research vessel na pumasok sa karagatang sakop ng Catanduanes.

Nagsasagawa ng maritime patrol ang Tactical Operations Wing, Southern Luzon nang ma-monitor ang naturang Chinese vessel.
