LOOK BACK: Magnitude 7.2 quake in Taiwan, a month ago
Friday will mark a month since a deadly magnitude 7.2 earthquake hit eastern Taiwan on April 3.
At least 17 people were killed in the quake on April 3, with more than a thousand injured. The island also experience at least 1,000 aftershocks since that day.
Taiwan lies near the junction of two tectonic plates and is prone to earthquakes.
