The Chinese navy allowed members of the public on board four warships on Saturday (April 20) ahead of a meeting in Qingdao aimed at /”multilateralism, fair, and just sea governance./” Among the ships that the public were allowed access to were a submarine rescue ship, a comprehensive supply ship and two guided missile destroyers. China is hosting the 19th Western Pacific Naval Symposium in Qingdao on Monday (April 22) as the People’s Liberation Army Navy marks its 75th founding anniversary on April 23.
