Visitors to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government No. 1 Building watched in awe as a 100-meter-tall Godzilla was projected on the building on Saturday (April 27). The display marks the 70th anniversary since the birth of the fictional monster, who is also a tourism ambassador to Shinjuku Ward, a district of the Japanese capital. The radioactive monster is part of a projection mapping project at the capital’s city hall which has been taking place since February 25, 2024.
