The Philippine Coast Guard speaks to the media on Wednesday, May 1, a day after three China Coast Guard (CCG) vessels harassed and used their water cannons against PCG and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources ships off the waters of Bajo de Masinloc.

PCG spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea Commodore Jay Tariella earlier said the damage on the vessels “serves as evidence of the forceful water pressure used by the China Coast Guard in their harassment of the Philippine vessels.”
