Iran’s attack on Israel is proportionate and legal, and Iran does not seek to escalate regional tensions, said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani on Monday. Meanwhile, Kanaani also clarified there was no prearranged agreement with any country prior to Iran’s retaliatory attack against Israel. Regional officials, including Iran’s foreign minister, said Tehran had given notice to neighboring countries days before its attack.
